Learning English in Oxford

Tutors David Meek and Jane Reed, who are both native speakers, can provide you with individual tutorials in English language, in Oxford, whatever your first language and whatever your present level of English. Tutorials are usually an hour to one and a half hours long and can be held in the morning, afternoon or evening.

General English

The content of your tutorials will be based on your particular English language needs and you will increasingly be encouraged to become an independent learner.

Additional structure will be given by following a course book, at the appropriate level (elementary to advanced), such as Language Leader www.pearsonlongman.com/ languageleader. In these ways you will develop your vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation and the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing
